I've got to find one also just for some touching up. I heard there is one in Alto but haven't got to talk to him yet. |

Just curious, why don't you want to do it yourself? I have a 5 month old black lab that is as steady as any dog I have ever seen, works doubles and blinds, and is doing well on the hand signals. Plus, he sticks right by my side. I have had a few buddies send their dogs off, and when they started to lose their "polish", they couldn't refresh them because the dogs didn't identify with them as their "pack leader". It is extremely rewarding to have a dog you train work. That said, I'm not knocking the trainers themselves, I have seen some kennel trained dogs work like a machine, and they (the trainers) can't be held at fault for owners not keeping the dogs ready, so all you trainers out there don't take this wrong. |

I had heard there was a guy in Lindale named Craig Wood that had some awsome dogs, I don't know if he just trained for himself or would take others. I bought a pup from him once that was pretty smart. |

"I would recommend http://www.moccasincreek.net. Danny's a good trainer and at a good price." I second this. Danny Littlejohn is a good trainer. |
