anyone had there dogs nose go raw from rooting around in the grass trying to find a downed bird? i took my pup on her first hunt the other day, and the salt grass was real thick and high, so she was pretty much rooting around like a pig once she'd catch wind of the bird. after doing that all morning, above, all around and right under her bottom lip is raw, like where its supposed to be black, its pink.
