Feed raw. Best thing I have ever done for my dogs. Spotless teeth, turds that are literally an inch long, soft shiny coats, clean ears, and all muscle. |

I feed both of my dogs, sport mix in the blue bag from tractor supply. its 27.00 for a 40lb bag. my labs coat is healthier and he is always full of energy and ready to go. my lab and my husky don't shed nearly as much and their nails don't split. very good food from what ive seen. |

We've been using Natures Valley raw patties for AM and their "Instinct" w/freeze dried kibble for PM The raw and grain free kibble have been great on her stomach, less farting and great protein |

I've been doing some trials with foods with my golden. She's got allergies so I gotta be careful what I feed her for the most part or it gets pretty bad. I've got her steady on Dr. Tim's active formula now and that stuff is the shit. I feed her 1/3 of what I fed her when she was eating Pro Plan. It's more expensive, but a bag lasts me almost three times as long. She also has noticeably more energy since I've started feeding the Dr. Tim's. It's great stuff. |

Taste of the wild high Prarie bison and venison is what I feed. I'm really happy with it. It's very nutritious, it's what I like to call a "hippy brand" dog food. The good thing is it doesn't have a bunch of fillers and it's all natural and very high in protein. My 85lbs lab eat 2 cups in the morning and 2 at night. It's very nutrient rich. if he eats more than that he starts getting fat. It costs more but you feed less and you have a healthier dog. It's similar to blue buffalo in ingredients etc. I get 30 lbs off of amazon for $42 with amazon prime. Locally it costs about 50 after tax It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

Purina Pro plan sport. 30/20. Pups been on it his entire life. Breeder sent me home with a bag. Trainer friend feeds all hers the same. Same for Most of the trials folks I know Proven and easily findable chow. Fair price. |

https://books.google.ca/books/about/Ani ... edir_esc=y ...i learned to balance feed rations by hand back in the 70's using a calculator without an functions on it and it was a painfully slow process...i picked this up ten years ago when it came out and it has a cd with it that will do all the work for you and apply it to any stage of life and level of work of your dogs ...kennel masters used to be the ones with these secrets, but now anyone can do it ...been training labs since 1992 and the best thing i ever did for them was to start cooking fresh food for them ten years ago...i do it every other day...basic ingredients = barley, wheat, oats, corn oil, milk powder, alfalfa, meat/menhaden...all of which i have on the farm and/or buy in bulk for pennies of what commercial food costs...and it's fresh fresh...they have beautiful coats, no digestion problems, great energy, crumbly droppings, well digested, and they love it...commercial food is made from a lot of renderings and byproducts...i won't eat that so i won't feed it to my dogs ...it does take a lot more work |
