I used one called sportsmans pride for a while but then went to Eukanuba Natural Lamb & Rice. Wanted something I did not have to order and my dog does not do well if I change his food, you know when you forget & run out. Eukanuba is at Pet Smart & Petco, so even when you evacuate for hurricanes, it is easy to find.

Innova - expensive as sh#t and can't find it at most places. If it was up to me, the dog would be eating Purina or something else cheaper/easier to find. Obviously it's not up to me.

Enhance Professional Athelete 30/22 is a great food for the money.(about $30.00 per 40lbs). Enhance recently changed from chicken by product meal to chicken meal as their main protien source. This was a big deal to me. I don't like feeding my dogs chicken heads and feet. PA is a high calorie food for working dogs. I typically cut back amounts during summer months and when not hunting or running field trials.

Go with a good puppy food. They need the best at that stage for healthy growth and its no time to skimp on food IMO.

Joy 24/20 high energy. I used purina for a long time and then a buddy of mine who runs beagles introduced it to me. I feed half as much daily as Purina and still have the same result. My 4 yr old chessie and my 12 yr old chocolate lab have been eating this stuff for 3 years now. My lab has tremendous energy for a 12yr old 100lb dog.
