The registration I was speaking of is that of the Micro-Chipping. Though there are groups that do register cross-breeds |

people put WAY TOO MUCH emphasis on registry and dont realize that you cross breeds to improve them sometimes. I own a kennel in SC and breed and sell akc and ckc dogs and I get the best results with the ckc Mutts and have fewer problems with them. the 4 best dogs that I ever owned were NOT PUREBRED. if you want a selling or breeding dog, get akc but a ckc dog is just as good and the chessie lab mix sounds great, what about labradoodles. probably the most "in demand" dog right now. a lab that doesnt shed. WOW!!!!!!!! |

Im not real familiar with the Chesapeaks. Do they shed like the lab? Temperament? |

They shed a bit more than a lab, but that is due to the double coat. The temperment has a bit to do with the breeding; as well as raising the pup. This particular breeding the pups will be great and should have a nice built i switch. A mental switch to go from couch potato family pet one minute and game time the next. |
