T-Bubba, would you mind fostering one? All you have to do is feed it and take care of it. Vet bills are covered by NOLA. Then if you decide to adopt it yourself, all you pay is the adoption fee. In other words, you can test it out before buying it.
Anything you spend on the dog while fostering can be used as a deduction on your taxes. You would be volunteering for a non-profit by holding the dog till it gets adopted.
They are being pulled from the shelter today and should be going to the vet today or on Monday.
If you or anyone can foster, please try to do so. All of our volunteers have multiple dogs already and really can't take more in. But NOLA didn't want these puppies killed. Puppies tend to get adopted quick.
