pup is doing alot better this year as she is now 1.5 years.....retreived close to 100 birds last season....only complaint is she wont pick up geese on land....i dont hunt geese much but would like to every now and again... So i bought a dokkens goose retreiver...first day she picked it up and dropped it....wont pick it up since...not afraid of it just wont pick it up....Size of object doesnt seem to matter as she retreives boat paddles and other akward shit....just gonna see it anyone had pointers on to getting her to land retrieve....maybe another dog to show her? thanks in advance |

Started the work out today....met her at edge just fine on first retrieve...second retrieve was blown ashore before she got there....picked it up and brought it around pond.....nothing graceful but made me proud and she.definitely noticed ....same thing tomorrow to keep the repetition |
