Post subject:	Question about a puppy
I found a chocolate puppy but it has a white spot on it's chest. The father is chocolate and the mother is yellow. They have all papers. There was 3 chocolates, 1 black and 1 yellow in the litter. Their pedigrees are awesome. Should I be worried about the white on the chest?

My neighbor got one about a year ago, chocolate with white spot in chest, she is a year old now with no white on chest anymore

i know a guy that has one that he does field trials with that has white on its chest

I just read that the white comes from the St Johns Water Dog. That's where labs came from.

The white patch comes from the english lab bloodline if I am correct pretty positive thou

Train him right and no problems. I know people with muts with no background and turned out to be decent hunting dogs.
