I really do not want to give her to the pound because I will feel really really bad because she has plenty potential and do not want to see it go to waste.

How much are you asking? Better to give to a hunter that will user the dog as intended, than the pound. Just my .02

How does she do around kids ? Was she around other dogs or cats?
