The last several weeks have been spent getting ready for the newest pup. With a deposit
mailed in the day of whelping, seven weeks seemed to drag on way too long. July 25th
after a nine hour round trip, "Pounce" was home. What a wonderful little pup she has
turned out to be.
My youngest Lab is now 9 years old and I figured it is about time to freshen' things up a
bit. I'll be 74 years old in a couple of weeks and plan on duck hunting at least another ten
years. Therefore, I need to make sure there's a young dog to make things a bit easier.
Pounce's first few days home revealed her photogenic "skills". In addition, she and our
autistic Granddaughter immediately became best "buds".
note: The throw toy was a gift from a friend of mine that runs AKC competitions in OB,
Agility and hunt tests with top titles in each category (MH titles on all dogs). I just
thought I'd flip it out for my seven week old pup to say I used it.....'cause I probably
would never have bought something like that. At least she didn't "cigar" it.
