I don't use a shock collar at all.. And if I would it would be No.. What would be the need to shock your dog if he or she is already sitting?? |

On another note if you are trying to in force the sit. When the dog sits and you nick him with the collar that would not be assinide, but if you are shocking him on five then it would be.. Lots of variables to your? |

I'd say most defiently use it if u say sit and he does and picks back up. I'd say sit again and shock and say sit sit sit while small zap each time to drive in fact sit means sit. Not sit to please me and turn around next second do whatever |

I would not use it in begining of training if the dog isn't fully aware what sit means yet though. |

Google "assenide" lol. Some of yalls dumb ass words are asinine. And yes I will shock one on a remote sit on a blind followed by a "sit" command if they are sitting but they are head swinging or not paying attention to where I'm about to cast. When they are trying to figure out where to go before I cast them |

Being a little more specific would probably help some....however not to most on here. In his post it's led to believe that a dog sits (on command I assume) and someone burns the dog. Well, there's got to be a little more to it than that to make an intelligent answer. Does my answer work? Yes, it does. But I am assuming a scenario that he may not be implying. |

Yes it is ok to nick a dog for sit when he's already sitting not only r u nicking him for sit but u r trying gain his full attention by nicking him. Sit is just not sit but to sit like a statue and u r also looking for full eye contact so even though the dog is sitting but looking at some kids down the street playing r looking at some birds flying up in the sky I'm gonna nick her again followed by the sit command until I have her full contact if u can't get it at ten feet in front of u u will never get it at 200 yards Sent from my iPhone using |

im sure white jackets and walking in the direction you want the dog to go would have to happen, no way in hell a lab can see an arm, even if in a white jacket, at a 1000 yards with out some extra movement from the trainer, but then again i wouldnt fucking know bc i have never pushed my dog further than 250 yrds, bc there is no point |
