I'm get a black lab female puppy soon and I'm tryin to decide on a name and I'm having a hard time coming up with a hunting themed name just wondering what you guys named your dogs. |

i guess being a trainer i have listened to every name in the book. but not to rain on anyone's parade but everyone and their mom has a dog named benelli or nelli or bell or bella i know that my first dog abby is common but i didnt pick it. i guess i just like origional names or even better yet play on words with their registered name. name her wam bam thank you ma'am-----call name quickie |

if it was a chocolate lab you could just name it Retard and call it Tard for short.  I got a female black lab "Sue's Lucky Break" a.k.a. Lucky. She was intended to be ol' Sue's replacement when I retired her... hence the name. That was naive.... no dog can ever replace ol' Sue. RIP I also have a useless male Boykin Spaniel "C0ck-a-Doodle Rouxster" a.k.a. Roux. Da 1st lady wanted to name him sumthin rimeniscent of her home state of SC and those shameful Gamecocks. Maybe that explains his approach to pickin up ducks. lol |
