awoke monday a.m. to find that all 3 of my dogs had gotten out of the fence. threw on sum clothes and hauled azz out the door to go look for them. i was met in the garage by my male yellow lab "Buck". I was purdy relieved knowing that Buck is de pack leader & de other 2 couldn't be too far behind. Strangely, Buck was acting really wierd and all he wanted to do is lay down. This is very odd, being as he usually is in the truck waitin' on me. Not thinkin' much of it, i jumped in my truck and headed for a patch of woods a few blocks from my house. The dogs most always head over here when they're out to chase up sum wildlife and put they're noses to work. They usually make there way back home or get tired & hang out on the levee until my wife or i comes pick 'em up. It's not often that i have to ride around and really look for them, but today was different. after searching for some time i decided to head back home and figured they'd be there waiting on me. my wife met me at the door to tell me the bad news. she had found the other two dogs on the side of the road just north of russo's boat landing. i was shakin' up purdy bad by de news and i couldn't quite figure out why the dogs would have went that far. when i went to pick up the dogs i found a big ol' doe layin' right b/t them. looks like they chased this one a lil' too far... Sorry to hear dat. At least they were doing something they loved. Always sad to lose a pet. I watched my pet rat terrier get run over and the bastard never stopped. I picked her up and my dad and I oushed her pallet back in place and doctered her up. To this day she is still kicking. I hope they in that paradise in da sky having fun bro! |

aw man...im so sorry. i have 3 too..had them get out a couple weeks ago...when i got a call they were out, my heart dropped. i cried like a girl when my youngest one was nowhere to be found. my dogs are my family as im sure urs were. im really sorry man. i know a lot of bad things been happening to u. remember, god only gives to us what he knows we can handle. shaun |

Hate to hear that . You never know how much they really mean to you until their gone. I don't know what I would do without mine.(esp.the yorkie) Don't have any kids so they kinda take there place. |
