Post Domestic / pet ducks and dog?
I've got a pond that's about 200 x 250. I want to raise ducks, but I don't know how it would effect my lab.

Would calling him off the live ducks ruin him on retrieving or hunting? I've had chickens for years, but they stay in their run and he can't get to them. The ducks would be raised more free range with pond access.

We have raised ducks and geese for years and have not ever had an issue. Dogs just seem to know better. When we butcher they seem to get a little more interested, but we have never had a dog kill any of them. And all have been great bird dogs.
