I feed my lab purine one large breed adult formula from Walmart and she has never complained.

It has almost the identical nutrient blend as pro plan focus but is less expensive

Euknauba. It has a lot of fish oil in it and keeps my labs cost real shinny. Call of the Wild and Blue Buffalo are also good but pricey

My dogs have been on 4 health their whole lives. I switched to taste of the wild and now their coats look dull and one has developed dandruff so I switched back to 4health.

We've had good luck with the Blue Buffalo Wilderness dogfood in salmon. We just have a little squirrel dog though and she doesn't eat much.

I am using Purina Pro Plan Performance. Finn is a grazer and could care less if he skips a meal. Aggravates the hell out of me, because the vet said he needs to put on @7 pounds.

I talked to a guy today that they use that in their kennel and they had females have reproduction problems and missed Heats and all kind of problems. He said they had a big article on Google about it here a while back

I've fed my dogs daimond dog food for years "maintenance" during summer and "hi-energy" during hunting season. They were fine during the summer but during hunting season I just couldn't keep the weight on my 2 dogs. I switched to a brand called Sportmix (the black bag) about a year and a half ago and I've been very impressed. Weight stays on em all season, coat is shinier/healthier looking, and I've noticed their energy and drive increase dramatically.

My wife gives our daschunds that all natural Rachel Ray treehugger food. But in its defense, my 18mo old daughter has gotten into it and eaten several handfuls, and with the exception of some nasty diapers, it didn't hurt her. We have to feed the dogs when she's down for a nap

Lol.... I remember tricking my younger sister into eating dog food several times when we were little. Then I got my ass beat when my parents got wind of it.

I'll start by saying I have a dobie and he is very active! I was feeding Diamond high energy or whatever it was 32% protein. Well he would put on weight then lose weight and have loose poop here and there , so I had a friend recommend Victor. So I started feeding him the Hi pro and he maintains weight and poo has always been good now.
