I feed my lab purine one large breed adult formula from Walmart and she has never complained. It has almost the identical nutrient blend as pro plan focus but is less expensive |

I've fed my dogs daimond dog food for years "maintenance" during summer and "hi-energy" during hunting season. They were fine during the summer but during hunting season I just couldn't keep the weight on my 2 dogs. I switched to a brand called Sportmix (the black bag) about a year and a half ago and I've been very impressed. My wife gives our daschunds that all natural Rachel Ray treehugger food. But in its defense, my 18mo old daughter has gotten into it and eaten several handfuls, and with the exception of some nasty diapers, it didn't hurt her. We have to feed the dogs when she's down for a nap

I'll start by saying I have a dobie and he is very active! I was feeding Diamond high energy or whatever it was 32% protein. Well he would put on weight then lose weight and have loose poop here and there , so I had a friend recommend Victor. So I started feeding him the Hi pro and he maintains weight and poo has always been good now. |
