Willow is a female English Cocker that will be flushing quail and retreiving dove, snipe, and pheasant next fall.

1 lab
1 English Setter
1 English Pointer
2 English Cockers

Only need a couple more pointers now and my guide string will be complete [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

9 weeks old and she is retreiving pheasant wings. Gonna get her on a live quail with clipped wings this weekend. She has only had one potty accident in the house. Picking up on "sit" pretty quickly. Also enjoys hunting the cat. Pretty bold little dog around the older ones. Probably going to be a winner.

She is a handful. Constantly hunting anything that moves. Tried to run down a sandhill crane a couple days ago. She doesn't cower down from the bigger dogs. Boldest puppy I have ever owned.

Nice... Now to just endure through the destructive puppy phase.

My 3 year old lab only reverts to mildly destructive behavior when he is alone and bored. Then it is just stuff like stealing the oven mitt off the counter, taking dirty clothes from the hamper, stealing the bread off the counter. Even then he doesn't destroy it. Rather he just holds it until someone takes it from his.

I have a 2 year old setter and a one year old pointer that are still very immature. My 6 year old cocker doesn't get into any mischief... other than chasing cats.

Can’t wait till mine calms down. She gets so excited to see certain people and to go in the boat that instead of wagging a tail, she eats her whole butt and when that happens......it equates to recklessness lol

Wags not eats

My large framed 85 pound lab has the same reckless tail wag. Pretty big dog for the boat. I have a 35 pound English Cocker that is very manageable in the boat.

Yeah, my girl is an English block head lab and sits right at 95 lbs during the summer and heavier during the winter. She is NOT a pirogue dog lol

Yep... that's a big dog. The sire of mine was imported from the UK and the dam is American. Mine is just tall, long, deep chest, giant head, thin torso. My 15 year old mostly uses the lab.
