Sponsors
Chris "bigrich" is going to be helping us round up some sponsors for the event again this year. Daniel "russ" Russell is also going to be helping out this year. If you would like to participate or know someone who would, please shoot Chris or Russ a pm. You're more than welcome to contact me directly as well. Anything offered is greatly appreciated and will be going to help a great cause. All funds raised at this event will go directly to the GCLA (Greater Caddo Lake Association), and proceeds will be used to fight several invasive species, most important right now, the infestation of Giant Salvinia. If anyone would like to put funds directly to the cause, or help fund the lunch and dinner so more of the income from that will make it back to the lake, please shoot me a pm. Anyone else who has items they would like to donate for the giveaway, please get in touch with Bigrich. We will update this thread as we start to gain momentum. Thanks for everyone's support! Re: Sponsors
Where's the love at fellas? Let's get some help in here, we need some stuff to give away at the event! It's all for a good cause. 100% of the tickets and T-shirt sales go to directly to the GCLA. Being successful with the ticket sales is almost solely dependent on what kinda stuff we have to give away. Last few years we've got some really good stuff. Let's keep the trend going. Keep in mind, you don't have to be a corporate or big name sponsor. Anyone who'd like to help out can pick up some things to offer. We've had people donate duck decoys, coolers, fishing and hunting supplies, sporting goods store GC's, etc . We've had people make stuff such as custom duck calls, push poles, the picture that Swampnuts gave us last year (very cool, btw). Anything mudmotor or outdoors related will likely make this crowd happy. If you'd like to help out, just let us know. Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sponsors
Figured I'd add this in a few places in hopes that nobody misses it:
Just something to keep in mind that I'm not sure I've shared, 100% of the $20 (23 on preorders to help with fees and shipping costs) t-shirt sales go to directly to the cause. We have a company in Connecticut that donates the time to draw up the artwork, the design itself, and then completely covers the costs of the shirts and shipping costs to get them to me. Other than the paypal fees and the few bucks we spend on shipping after the ride, every penny from the shirt sales goes to GCLA. This is definitely a big reason we've been able to donate so much the last two years. It's a very large portion of our total donation. So even for the folks who aren't able to attend but would like to support our cause, ordering a t-shirt is a great way to do so as just about every dime you spend will hit it's mark.
The drawing tickets are the same way. There is no costs taken out of these funds. Everything we are able to give away is donated by our wonderful site sponsors, and site members. All proceeds go to the cause.
Food costs are high, but our cook helps us out a ton there by shopping for deals and trying to make our meals as economical as possible. We do usually come out slightly ahead here, but the huge portions of our donation comes from our sponsors and our t-shirt sales.
Thanks again to all who participate in any way!

Re: Sponsors
Starting to get some neat stuff! First year we've had a dyno run offered! Thanks to everyone who's offered to help out so far!
Remember, you don't need to be present to win. If you'd like to participate but will be unable to attend, that's fine. Just shoot me a pm and we will work out the details.

Re: Sponsors
We are going to do a banner again this year. Need all the logos that will be going on by next Thursday, 5/12. If you were planning to sponsor and just haven't spoke up yet, please get with either me or Russ before Thursday so we can make sure we're flying your logo at the run. We'll still accept sponsors after that date up until the run, but we won't have a way to get your logo on the banner after that.
As of right now, I have logo's for everyone but the following:
3ck Bigrich Clint Arthur LA Prop Bayoubusters
If you don't want anything on the banner, that is fine. If you do, try to get us something pretty soon.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Sponsors
Few added sponsors.
For those who haven't sent a logo in yet, Russ is planning to order the banner today so we need to get them in to him as soon as we can.

Re: Sponsors
Just got word that one of the boys from Backwater is going to be making the ride. So we'll have at least two boat manufactures and an outdrive manufacture in attendance this year!
