Post Schedule
Once again, Gary at Crip's Camp is going to let us host our fun run on his property. If you get a chance to meet him, please show him your appreciation. He doesn't have to let us host here, but he does every year. Please do your part to clean up after yourselves and keep his property in tip top shape. There's usually burn barrels for trash, and we should have plenty of bags. Aluminum cans are usually piled up next to one of the burn barrels and someone will come to collect them for scrap.

9:30 AM- Captains meeting on the shore at Crips camp. Please have your boat launched and ready to go before this time. Please be onshore or close enough to hear us speaking from shore. Quick, painless, safety meeting, most of which has already been covered in the "courtesy and safety" thread.

10:00- First group will head out. I will have a lead boat and a trail boat, both marked with Flags. If it's anywhere near as big as last year, we will run two groups. When the first marked boat takes off, please single file out after them. The trailing boat will count off about half the boats and then fall in the rear. If you don't make the cutoff for the first group, please hang out and wait for the second group to head out. We will likely delay about 20-30 minutes between groups.

12-12:30- First group should get back to shore for lunch somewhere in this time frame. Second group shortly behind. Midnight Smokers' will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, with a bag of chips for $7 a plate. We will also have raffle tickets and any shirts still available for sale in the lunch line.

~2:00- After everyone is full and rested from lunch, we'll make the haul across to the Louisiana side of the lake and hang out at Onion island for the remainder of the afternoon. There will probably be several smaller groups that know there way kinda heading that way randomly after lunch. Feel free to hop in with a group. If you don't know where you're going and want to make sure you get where you want, find one of the flagged boats. There should be at least four of them. You can open it up running across the lake, just be on the lookout for fisherman out in the middle, and keep in mind there is obstructions under water if you get off the boat lanes. Please be safe.

7:00- Likely start serving dinner around this time. If you head back from Onion Island early or go for a ride on the way back, you'll likely want to start trickling back towards Crips sometime before 8. Midnight Smokers' will be serving brisket, potato salad, and baked beans (and likely at least one other choice of meat). This man's food is to die for. You will no doubt be impressed. Dinner will be $10 a plate. Any remaining t-shirts will be for sale in the dinner line, and this will be the last chance to pick up tickets for the raffle. If you need change, get with the girls...

~8-8:30- When dinner starts wrapping up and it looks like most are done with their meals, we'll get the raffle started. Lot's of good stuff to give away this year. Check out the items to be given out here: viewtopic.php?f=92&t=65960&p=883814#p883814 Tickets are $5 and will be available at meal times on Saturday. Need not be present to win. If you are not going to be able to stick around for the drawing, please make sure you leave contact info on your ticket stub for us.

After the raffle.................PARTY!!!

Thanks to everyone who comes out and show's there support. Please enjoy yourselves and have a safe, fun, weekend!
