hunts
Do any of you guys trade hunts with people from other states. It would just be nice to have a change of scenery, or hunt somewhere it gets cold mabe a little ice and snow instead of the same azz sheet down here in the Texas gulf coast year after year. Is a mallard to much to ask for from time to time?

Re: hunts
Not many people want to trade a Mallard for a redhead.

Re: hunts
They might dig a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck....
They are delicious too, with big ole drumstcks on 'em.... Eat way better than Mallard...
An they are dumber than most duck hunters too... Limit is 5... Killed 4 with one shot, got witnesses....

Re: hunts
Swamp lord, how far are you from Hope, AR? There is a decent GTR there. we hunted it a few times this year. Just remember that locals rule the ramp- seriously once they see OK tags they will wait with the warden to check you.

Re: hunts
Sounds like a plan, I'll have to do some checking around on the permits. Any chance it will be cold? Snow?[/quote]
O it can get cold, but on the average its in the 50's or warmer (especially this year) dosent snow really, its the ice that can be bad on average once or twice a year.
