You still going to the hunt test in East Texas this weekend? What about Matt, he taking any dogs? I still haven't made up my mind yet. It's so dam close I hate to miss it.

i'm not to familier how or catagories they have for dogs . and what and how do they judge the dogs and handlers... i don't have a dog my hunting partner does and he is asking me ,and i'm curious also cause i'm in the amrket for a dog and might be interested in doing some of these events .....thanks fellows..............

etquackster, if you are going to come watch. call me at 936-204-5047 when you get there and i will go over everything with you as we watch the tests. i will have dogs in two different categories and a gut that i know will be running some in all three. just holler at me and we will meet up at the grounds.

Tests normally start running around 0800. Registration around 0730. There are the levels of test running simultaneously. Started, seasoned, and finished. Check them all out. There will be signs showing where each test takes place. They will each run one series in the morning, then another after lunch. Each level has a water and a land series. Double-R will probably not be back on tonight but he has one seasoned dog and a finished dog. Look for a black dodge 1/2 ton with a box in the back. Thats his truck. I probably wont be there tomorrow as I am going sac-a-lait fishing but will be there on sunday. My dog will be there with Matt Larkin running finished.
