 Who's ready for deer season? I ran to North La yesterday to check the cameras and put out some more rice bran. October can't get here fast enough. Anybody else getting pumped? Included are a few pics of some trophies from last season.

Re: Who's ready for deer season? Wood goats. I like shooting them. Stand hunting is where I catch a good afternoon nap. I like stalking them up and whacking them. We're about overrun with them. Nothing big, just millions of em running around eating shrubbery and suiciding Buicks. One hunt club here killed 600 deer legally (no tally on the other hunts) and they didn't put a dent in the herd on their land. Doesn't even make sense. If we had ducks like deer, we'd be Saskatchewan.
