I think you need 10 or 15 more ribs in the bottom. you sure it ain't gonna be a dumptruck bed?

Re: MY NEW BOAT BUILD LONG WAITED 72"X16FT
How do plan to bend the bottom for the rake? When using longitude braces(like yours) I would shape the boat without ribs. Then, I would bend them according to rake and drop in.

Re: MY NEW BOAT BUILD LONG WAITED 72"X16FT
I have already figured where my rake will start and ran my stringers to that point after I finnish my stern area and have it welded up I will build a make shift gimbal attach it to the stern place the flag pole in center of boat and run a line to the front attach a bar across the plate front so it will not bend the edge use a com-along to pull the front up to meet the top of the sides or where I see fit and weld it up I have done this on my last build it worked great and did not stress the material at all at the stringer edge

Definitely a different way of doing it, but hey looks good. That transom looks really short.

here are a couple pics of other boats he's built. Instead of Crayola Sidewalk Chalk, Fred decided to use Lego's to help in the design

Damn dude, your skin is almost see-through. Let us know your birthday and I'll see if I can get you a protractor, then you can throw away your framing square.

Fred, I am not an Azz like all these other MOFO's.
Hey MOFO's, Yall should be ashamed of yourselves.... This man is putting alot of hard work and money into this project, and yall ar downing him. SO WHAT, he uses Legos to help build a boat. I've already had to use a Sidewalk Drawing.
Fred, BE STRONG. Believe in yourself, and good things will happen...
With Love, Uncle J

I kinda feel some pity for the cypress knees that thing will hit...if you get a hook, it's cause you got rear ended by a tractor trailer at a light.

Re: MY NEW BOAT BUILD LONG WAITED 72"X16FT
2 things. loose that ratchet stap around the lower unit. the transom saver is fine. Peck recomends trimming all the way up, bumping the motor down just a hair. kick it to one side and tie the handle.
and, not tryna be an ass.. but if u spent that much money on a motor, why did u get the manual trim instead of hydraulic?
