Re: looking to do frog spit
Mine came out pretty darn good. I am only about 2 months into it and its holding up, I hadn't really had a chance to tear it up yet. I have crossed some logs and stumps with it and it defintely makes a difference. In heavy vegitation it helps a good bit. I did not see any real noticeable top end speed gain with mine, but that's because the bottom on my boat doesn't have any major hooks as of now. Others have reported some speed gains of 1-1.5 mps if that is what you are also looking for. As some other threads have stated, when you are backing down and up the ramp your boat must be latched or it will come of at a very inconvienient time. I thought I had mine latched a few weeks ago at the launch and I did, but the latch slipped off. The boat completely came of the trailer as I was coming out the water and laid it on the ramp. A serious surpirse for me to say the least. I was scared to death as I was bymyself and no one else was there. I trimmed the motor up and was able to push it back in the water on conrete and gravel. No damage except for a few scratches on the Frogspit.

Re: looking to do frog spit
The stuff is slick. I did mine myself and it was fairly simple, hardest part was flipping the boat over. As for performance it defiantly slides off sand bars and stuff easier. BUT I hunt by myself a lot and it can be a pain in the butt with launching. Make sure it stays strapped down or it will end up on the launch ramp, I've done it twice already and its not fun.
