 Opinions on the drive...
Looking for opinions, like, dislikes, pros, and cons on mud rigs with surface drive steering options....
Bow mount steering?
Center Console?
Side console?
Tiller Steer?
I'm leaning more towards a tiller steer unit due to I feel like there is more control and feel.

 Re: Opinions on the drive...
I like a tiller in the woods, its a whole lot easier to manuver in a split second than a steerin wheel and you can raise the prop out of the water when you slide over somethin. This also leaves you with the most open floor plan and more space to put somthin else.
If you want ease of drivin I would go with console.

 Re: Opinions on the drive...
Never owned a boat with a console so I can't comment on that. I always ran a outboard and it was a very easy transistion from a outboard to a surface drive MM. You can sit and run it almost exaclty like a outboard plus I hated friends who has outboards with consoles in boats cause it seemed like a waste of good floor space. I like having a wide open floor plan and the tiller allows for that nicely.
