Re: Looking for a duck club or lease
Big question is how much are you willing to pay. Most places are $4k-$5k perseason for a blind. Other places like the Dularge Hunting club, is much cheaper but there are alot of members.

Got 4000 acres my family owns we been getting 10,000 a year for three pit blinds for the last five to ten years from a law firm. Next door its 100,000$ buy in to get in that duck/deer club they have.

Re: Looking for a duck club or lease
You know, I don't mind land owners makin money on duck leases. But I almost rather hunt with the carpenter, plant worker, laborer than with hunters who have Money to hunt but might not have the appreciation of the sport I have. If I had the money I'd buy up enough duck propery so every one could hunt for free.

Re: Looking for a duck club or lease
There is also the Lake Houmas Duck Club. I think they are filled up for this year but you may want to look at it for next year. I might save some of my tax returns and join it seeing that it's next door to me. If I could fit my boat through the culverts which are 5'O.D., I wouldn't even have to get in a truck. I heard they had a pretty good Teal season. But mostly during the big season it's mixed bags. It's $800/year. There are other things also to hunt. Rabbit, Squirrel, frogs. I think you can bowfish in it also.

That sounds interesting. I think my boat may fit the the culverts. I think is is 5' at the widest point.
