 Bayou Fusilier of the Swamp
I spent my frosty and foggy Saturday morning running around North of Henderson, LA on the Indian Bayou hunt area.

Re: Bayou Fusilier of the Swamp
I was there scouting too. Only saw ducks in N Henderson flats. Did not see any big ducks at Fourdoche or Tete a la Vache. Water low but not lowest it's been this year, yet. I think if we could hunt Indian Bayou in the afternoons we, load up on woodies as there will be concentrated roosts...but so much for the good old days.

Re: Bayou Fusilier of the Swamp
Yup the North Flats are always a good bet on opening day, but man there are always way too many people. I started hunting the Fourdorche area several years ago just so that I could get away form the crowd.
How deep was the water in the north flats?
