 pvc boat blind?

Post pvc boat blind?
Any of you guys ever use a pvc type blind? like drill holes in it and stick palmetto branches in em?? thinkn about putn one in my boat around the sides of the boat.??

I rivited 3 extra pairs of oar locks on my Jon boat and have black PVC pipe (now spray painted tan and brown) rigged with reducers and pipe nipples to go in them. The pipes span the boat like covered wagon arches. Camo burlap is tied to these and can me raised to desired height and held in place with a couple clamps. I have extra strands of P-cord laced into the burlap and tie on bits of local vegetation to break up flat look of the burlap and to blend with local colors. Seems to work good so far. Next time out will try to get some pictures to post.

something that might be less labor intensive than drilling the holes in the pvc would be to secure a 8" wide or so piece of lattice (sp?) along both gunnels and then stick the palm fronds into that
