I love my 18/48. Carries a good load and gets up on a plain fast in shallow water. You looking to buy a new rig?

Yea...I have a LegendCraft 16/48 with a 27 PD on it but it does carry a load at all and it doesnt hop on step as quick as i want. I got a buddy with a 18/48 PD with a 36 PD and it does really well. I was just wondering if theres something out there that i dont know about thats better.

Well seeing your from Tyler, most of the water around there is pretty stumpy. I would stick with a 18/48 or a 16/48. If you start getting wider, gets hard to maneuver in stumpy areas.

Re: Best boat for PD 36
I went to TJC 02-04 so im not around tyler anymore...im prolly gonna keep my rig till the seasons over then sell it and upgrade to a 18/48 PD boat with a 36 PD. I know what it will do and ur prolly not gonna find anything built that heavy with the performance.
