Post Go Devil SD boat or Gatortail?
For those of you that have experience with both what are some of the main differences in these two boats and which do you prefer and why? I've got a 35ph hyper and will be getting a true mud hull this upcoming summer. Need a beam width of 67" or less to go under our duck blind. I've noticed the gatortail is a 46" bottom and the godevil a 48", either should fit under the blind fine. Thanks

Go with a custom build. That way you can get everything you're wanting in it, & nothing you don't. ;)

FYI....

Both the GD 44 and 48 wide hulls are right at 60" at the beam - or top....

Bottom designs will greatly affect turning / draft / speeds....

Best to test - then buy....

I had a 1644 Godevil (round chine not for surface drives) with a 35 GDSD motor and it worked just fine. But I wanted a more open floor plan and switched to the 1646 Gatortail and have no regrets. Both worked fine with that motor. I think the gatortail is a little faster but it slides more than the round chine Godevil too. With the gas tank under the deck and battery behind the floor, the gatortail has a noticable amount more room over the godevil. Both should fit under your blind easily.
