war eagle boat and prodrive motor

 war eagle boat and prodrive motor I have a 16 ft wareagle. Will a prodrive motor work on this boat? If so how well will it perform?

Re: war eagle boat and prodrive motor It'll work but you will absolutely destroy that war eagle if you run any stumps at all. Load carrying won't be as good either, but it will get you by until you tear it all to pieces.

Re: war eagle boat and prodrive motor Talked to a fella last week that had a 27PD on a 16' WE. He said it ran decent with 1 man but if you added any weight it was a dog. I didn't see it run but he obviuously wasnt happy with it. But if you have the hull already it should get you by till you get a better match.

Re: war eagle boat and prodrive motor I have 36hp prodrive on a 1652 seark mod v. Does fine with 3 guys, dog and gear, runs around 24 mph.
2 guys and dog and gear, around 27. Handles ruff water good
