I plan on ramping at the park or at that old red building before park , which is my Dad's place, I may stay the night there at the old red store.

Been a long time, businees been closed for awhile, my dad used to have the store in the park with the paddle boats, canoes and boats and motors. the state cancelled the lease, so no more park store. My dad runs tours out of McGee's Landing and also rents his boats and motors there. He also does canoe tours there also, which I help out, we use the mudmotors to run through the swamp and keep track of 26 canoes paddling through the swamp. My Dad is semi-retired, That old red building has a store, bar and house all built into it. Building is in need of repairs, but it is the only commercial lease there on the levee. I was thinking of making some kinda lodge out of it, but finances are kinda low for now. My dad wants to sell it, but idk how much.

I'll ride but you might have to post a reminder

I plan on riding March 6th, Sunday after lunch till. I will spend Saturday night at levee, have a fire and drink a few. then wake up Sunday drink about 2 gallons coffee feed kiddos lunch, then be ready to ride. I shall post reminder the week before for anyone wanting to show up.

My boats are no speed demons, 24 min does 22 maybe 23 mph with me wife and kiddos, my son in the homemade cvt 6.5hp drive does 16.7 mph. So all them GTRRRRRRRRR speedsters will have to drink a beer or two and wait for us. LOL

Weather looks like rain this weekend. I plan on taking a ride from Lake Fausee Point State park on Sunday March 6th. I read about Mardi Gras day ride on some other post too. May have to check that out, if I can find out info on that.

Sometimes I launch at Mcgees Landing cause I know the Allemands. I like to sit on the balcony, drink beer and watch the amatures launch boats and the tourists trying to get in and out of tour canoes. It get hilarious at times.

McGee's Landing huh, I know them personaly too, my Dad owns the canoes there and the little boats with motors. My Dad runs the tour boats sometiomes, I been knowing the Allemonds for over 20 years, worked at the launch when I was in high school.
