 Frog Spit or Steel Flex?
Im sure this topic has been discussed before but I have a few questions and I figured a few of you guys could help. I have a custom built fiberglass boat that I use to hunt divers in. I use it because I have to make long runs and can get there quicker with the outboard than I can my 25gdlt. Anyways Im looking for something that I can put on the bottom of the boat to protect the fiberglass and strengthen it up because where I hunt is a mine field of stumps but well worth it. Im more cautious with the fiberglass boat in this area than I am my aluminum boat but the fiberglass boat just gets me there quicker and the way I have it set up well it basically looks like a clump of grass. I would appreciate any input on either of these products such as cost, prep work, strength, etc. Thanks.

I used the frog spit.it is intended for the use on fiberglass boats. It does add some strength . You still have to take it easy in the swamp. You have to lighty sand the bottom before sopping. Good luck

You talking about on the Dixon?
They came with frogspit....I think. Steelflex works great on them. I need to re-do mine. Just leave it strap'd on when you back it down a steep ramp...or you're going need a lift and some fiberglass patches.
