Post Mods and reliablity?
I'm think of buying a 2009 Gator Tail boat and I had some questions about reliabitily issues with the mods that are on the engine. The mods on a 2009 Gator tail motor,120 hours, Evt exhaust,
Mikuni carb, iron mountain heads, Bps cam. I have read that some people some not to mod and to mod. I'm totally new to the mud motor scene, and just looking for input on what to expect as far as longevity of the engine with these type of mods. I do understand that the harder you are on your equipment the more likely it will break.

As previously stated you'll enjoy those mods and they are reliable. Almost identical to what I am running minus the BPS heads

I had almost 100hrs on the heads carb and exhaust mods . I just put in the cam and timing key but so far the motor has been very reliable.
