Questions: ceramic or just light colored paint? What collector did you use? What muffler? Is that a 35 or 23 vanny? How did you tune it to determine optimum length?

So do y'all think manufacturers like BPS make pretty exhaust systems with little attention to performance? Just asking not hatin'.

No one knows how they came about there ideas, But I would say they haven't Dialed in the exhaust like say a header company would to increase the scavenging effect for each cylinder.

It would be hard to make a perfect exhaust because different camshafts will operate differently so the exhaust pulses will be different. That means one exhaust wont be PERFECT for each different motor. I will say that I think all of the aftermarket exhaust tend to FLOW better than stock, but as for tuning the primaries to make sure on the exhaust stroke it will have increased velocity, I'd say no. The increased velocity also will help create a vaccum in the cylinder so when the intake and exhaust valves are open more air charge comes in and More of the exhaust leves the cylinder for a more efficient burn.

Just a question, do dual exhaust not perform as well as the style you built? Being that yours actually helps pull exhaust out of the cylinder.
