 Poling Platform
TXSHOCKWAVE was busy yesterday he basically built the whole platform... Here's a progress photo... I love the deck space on the platform extra room to really fish up there and move around He said the platform stops evenly with the hunt deck so nothing comes into the hull of the boat. No adjusting how I'll be running the boat etc. platform.jpg

 Re: Poling Platform
Very nice!
It's amazing the difference standing on a platform makes when fishing. You are gonna love that one - looks like you have plenty of room for movement.

 Re: Poling Platform
Damn you guys are vicious! It's not done yet I'm debating on a hoop bar for the front or single T-bar... Think I'm leaning towards the hoop cause then I can install beer holders There will be 3 rod holders on each side. It will be powder coated black Hydroturf will be installed on the top of the platform to protect my feet

 Re: Poling Platform
That boy has some serious welding skills. Are you going to install perm. or quick release?

 Re: Poling Platform
Its removable... (Quick Release or a few bolts) Here's some more photos of it completed... 1.5 days he's been juggling a few boats... James offered to take it down to the Powder Coat place on his way home... Going to check with them on their schedule so we'll see might be 100% done by this weekend Powder Coat everything!

 Re: Poling Platform
Thanks guys, I too think it turned out great the powder coat is very nice it was gleaming Saturday. It got a lot of compliments. I chose to do a black crinkle finish on it. I'm going to be getting some hydroturf and putting it on the top of the platform. James did a real nice job, he even took into account the height of the hydroturf and so when I add it, the top of the material will be flush with the lip of the tubing. Can't thank him enough!

 Re: Poling Platform
The two "pole holder" looking tubes on the front actually hold the loop bar which can be removed as you see in the last photo it comes up to about my waist and has good stability so I don't fall into the boat from up there
