Just a quick update. Olivia is doing well, she weighs 4.3 now and we hope to have more answers soon as to whats keeping her from coming off the vent. She is getting strong though, she picks up her head, looks around, and likes to crawl at her diaper at times. If we could just get that damn tube out of her life would be great. Thanks again to all of you and I hope you and your families are well.

hey guys, Just wanted to let yall know Olivia is having surgery tomorrow to find out whats wrong with her throat and why she cant breathe. She pulled her tube out again lastnight so shes ready to be done with it too so hopefully its something they can easily fix and soon. As always thank you for the prayers.

Well just wanted to let you all know the latest. The hospital has tried a couple of different procedures since the last time I was on here and none of them worked. Monday morning they are transporting her to the Childrens Hospital in New Orleans so we can get their opinion and more than likely surgery. They is a Pediactric ENT Dr. at that location and Womans doesnt have one. That being said Christy and I are preparing for an extended stay in that area because we want to be with her as much as possible while she goes through this. It may be some time before I am able to get back on but, we know we will be in your prayers and we thank you for it. Take care

well guys its been a while. We finally got her transferred back to Womans in Baton Rouge after a couple of operations. Still not home but, at least shes close to us and hopefully getting closer to coming home. We ended up having to put a trach in her throat and shes still on the ventilator. We are a little disappointed that we had to do that but, its better than her still being on the breathing tube and since the surgery she seems a lot happier. So we are waiting and praying that she we will be home in the next couple of weeks and without the vent. Its been a long six months but seeing that smile for the first time made it all worth it. My mom took this pic today, we havent ever seen her smile like this so we are taking it as a sign we made the right call. SOOOOOO glad to be back at womans!

Well shes finally home and doing well. Keeping us busy but thankful we finally got to this point. Hopefully that storm wont turn into anything and we can all relax together. Thanks to everyone for helping us get here

After reading all of this and hearing about halls struggle it had tears in my eyes. Im so glad to hear things are going better for y'all, it's awsome that y'all have kept talks faith through all this.
