 Re: So shiny
It is dry to the touch, but it is still curing. That pic was about 4-5 hours after the second coat. It is slicker than dog shit.

 Re: So shiny
I think you'll like it. One of my hunting buddies has it on his boat and he loves it! Make sure you have it tied down when you back it down the boat ramp though....

 Re: So shiny
It is some slick ass shit. We put the boat on the trailer today and gotdayum, I'm gonna need some good tie downs to say the least. Once I got the steelflex to the trailer, you could push the boat wherever you wanted with one hand. We'll see how it holds up to these texas stump fields...

 Re: So shiny
Should slide right off. I'm just curious how it will handle the impacts. I don't usually run wide ass open through em, but we do keep on step and try to keep as much of the boat out of the water as possible.

 Re: So shiny
We are rolling the paint. I was going to start on it today, but the weather was shit!!! I did get it inspected and got my numbers so today was not a total waste. I got my frame put back together yesterday and got the powerhead back on. Still got some top end work to do, but it's all coming along. Get off at 330 tomorrow. Gonna bring it with me to work and try to paint it in the bay once I clock out. Hopefully I'll be rigging electrical stuff next weekend and hydroturf the next!!!

 Re: So shiny
I was going to tell ya to be careful if you were going to use the kem400. That stuff dries crazy fast esoecially when its hot. I tried to brush a little on a place I was going ti touch up and man it made a mess.
