obviously after 4 pages...some folks are going to believe what they want. if you want to doubt the bible you can, some things are certainly open to intepretation by the reader. ive grown up going to church. that was just how i was raised. a few things were known in my home.....come sunday and weds you went to church, you do not lie, and you do what you say you are going to do. do i call myself a christian? yep. do i fall short? you bet i do. A LOT. but all i know to do is try. many have spoken of hypocrits in the church...yeah they are there. but it kinda depends on how you want to view it. like i said ive been raised going to church. in school i drank and partied. when i was younger probably any drug you can name ive done it. people fall short, people have problems, nobody is perfect. evryday i wake up knowing i need to do better. i get on here posting stuff and at times cursing....im wrong to do that....again im not perfect. a lot has changed for me personally in the last 10yrs. i turned 37 last month and the feeling that i will last forever and nothing can touch me is long gone. i now have to kids to raise and i feel im responsible for how they turn out and who they will be in life and God will be a part of it. there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to the bible and God and Heaven. like Mr. Brooks has posted, thats where the faith comes in. i hope everyone that's looking finds what you are searching for. hell might not be real but that's not something i feel comfortable gambling on....with my life or my childrens. i wish i could stay on here and discuss these things and be able to give you all of the scripture but i must admit that i cant. it's pretty embarassing. i'm still learning tho like many on here perhaps. im out....

2nd Peter 3

1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. 2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

Its was also hilarious when Elijah was walking in the woods going somewhere and this whole band of children came out and made fun of him for being bald and Elijah cursed them and two bears came out of the woods and killed all 42 of the children....Moral of the story, don't make fun of bald people. lol

I don't remember where in the bible it had the talking donkey in the story, but I remember reading that and laughing my ass off, pun intended It's in there though, somewhere.

The biggest thing for myself is, can you prove anything beyond the bible? This book is very young in age, where is all the remnants of the things before this? I know christians believe the Bible to be the word of God, and most of the time, their very argument is simply "because the bible says so". But that is the argument exactly- what else besides the bible?
