 Handheld GPS for boat
First of all I know it has been covered a few times but lets get some new and improved opinions..
Im looking for a gps that is simple to use, waterproof, tells speed, and most important is good at tracking..plan on doing a lot of exploring and need to be able to find my way out again..hahah.....also a ram mount that fits would be nice as well...thanks in advance.

Lowrance HDS 5m. I think its $599 at Cabelas, and they have a full line of RAM mounts for it.

 Re: GPS for boat
Which GPS models have aerial images? A lot of the areas I run on my Garmin with BlueCharts says I'm going over land when really I am not

 Re: GPS for boat
Delorme has one that you can download aerial images to. It also lets you layer the maps. I've not used one, but they look pretty cool.

I have the delorme, best handheld I've ever owned. Nothing cooler than seeing a satellite image of where you are.

 Re: Handheld GPS for boat
I have the Garmin 78c. You can put map images on it too but I don't much cause there are no decent images of where I go anyway. It is waterproof and floats etc. I have never used a GPS that was not a garmin (except for a sony pixis that nobody has heard of! )
