 building a hunt deck
going to build a hunt deck on my 1650 alumaweld with 35 GDSD dont have the money to drop on a new hull need ideas and insight for all you pros out there thanks in advance

Top 2 default answers, before someone else says it: 1. Use the search feature. 2. Save your money and buy a new boat.
But seriously, Autogateman had Uncle J put one on a factory type all weld john boat. He was in the same position as you; short on funds and making what he had work. Search for his post by his name and "hunt deck" and you can find all his thoughts and opinions. But basically the hunt deck did its job. I believe he also said a GDSD and huntdeck are not paired together well because the quick trim on the motor is hard to work when it’s on the deck. I have no personal experience in the matter, just relaying what I have observed.
