Went frogging saturday night in my brand new 1848 uncle J and about 2 hours in to the trip the gtr was stuck in neutral. Switched to forward and nothin, didnt hear the clutch pick up or any thing. reverse worked fine but no forward. after about 5 mins of toying with the switch, I turned the key off and restarted and everything worked just fine! anybody ever had this problem?

Yea made it back no problem, jus wondering if this was a common issue. Motor ran fine the rest of the night and ran for about 2 hours today with no issues. Gonna stack some hours on this thing and hope it doesnt do it again.

Note*-if you ever blow a fuse or have to straight wire it, a 22 mag casing fits perfectly

Like hunter said a little common sense and you can turn your gtr into a start in gear engine to get in,you can jump the trim switch to make it move there are lots of things if you have common sense that you can do to get in if something happens.

Broken belt housing was about 6 years old, I know of 2 broken GDSD shafts and BB knows of another that were less than 2 years old. You can get in with a cracked housing.

The other thread you speak of was out of hand before I got there and as usuall I will not sit there and let the typical crap go without a response.
