Yeah, yah know, not sure about the goooat and the roooooster. The "prooduuucer" may have had a bit too much to drink when putting this tooogether. The SOB can't spell either.

What kinda boat is Fatty runnin? Sorta looks like a GD, but has a skiff type front. Looks sharp.

Fatty (Aka Fowl Habit on here) is running a Phowler pointed bow.
We camped at goose island early in June. The water was high, but we found some fun areas to run.
It was more of a Keith Stone weekend for me, not Busch Light. The sand bar was a case of sliding a bit too much in a turn and deciding that beaching the boat was better than hitting it sideways.

Amazing how the river looks down here, compared to up there. Almost don't recognize it without the barges, cruise ships, ports and tidal wave current.

There are barges and boat traffic, but most of it was a 1/2 mile away on the main channel. You can even swim in this part of the river!
We will definitely plan something again for next year.
