 worn down prop
How bad could a worn down prop effect speed? I have a 2007 MB 23 mini. And after running the river of course finding a few sand bars hard i noticed on the lake that im only running around 10 mph vs the 21 mph with about the same loads. 2 guys 2 dozen dekes and other small gear in a 1648 alumacraft jon. Or do i have something else going on.
Thanks
Torrey

 Re: worn down prop
My guess is you found out for yourself. Aside from the engine actually running it has everything to do with speed. Sand+props=Devil.

 Re: worn down prop
Rpms seem to be aboat the same but from what i read they are a little higher then most at 4100 in water and the over all length is 9.5 inches and one blade is like 5 inches or little under wide. Just wanted to make sure before i tried to order one. Any suggestions on what i should get and best place to order from not sure if there is a dealer near me
Thankd

 Re: worn down prop
MB only offers 1 prop for the mini, an 11x10. However you need to remove it and see if you have a hex or threaded shaft.
And where are you?

 Re: worn down prop
You'd have to call MB to find out who is the closest.
The only dealer I know of in that region is in Lacrosse. If you want his info pm me.
