Im new to the lake hunting. I just got a gatortrax and would like some tips on driving it and how to find the ducks on the lakes.

For realla? Follow other hunters and then beat them to the spot next time....as for driving?!?! Wide open...duh

Haha this stuff is alot different than the winnie rice fields.

I used to hunt off frazen rd(?) Near airport..... ducks are suckers in rice fields....and when planes fly over the geese come down in you face.... marsh and lakes are a totally different animal....what lake are you trying to hunt?

I live close to lake o' the pines so it mainly. But we went up to wright pattman this weekend and my little brother and i killed 3 mallards. Im only 17 and have had to teach myself to hunt noone in my family likes it.

I was in the same position growing up....my brother now hunts but has only recently started up on towakani....he is hiking in now because he cant find a boat ramp with water..... Scouting, scouting scouting.....also pay attention where everyone else is hunting and whos shooting...... When Ive gone up to hunt with my brother we have always hunted in a cove but with water low he has hunted points in the big water.

Jesus Christ. Lake naming boom scouters. Shut the fuck up. Not the stuff to be teaching new hunters.

Keep exploring your local lakes- gain experience and find the ducks.

Hard to get any info over the forums regarding hunting locations - lake naming is a serious offense.

Best bet is to ask for PMs regarding hunting locations and someone to hunt with. ( even this may be viewed as offensive)

How fucking hard is it to ride around in a boat until you see ducks get up and figure out how you will set up there the next day?

Nobody in my family really duck hunts either but it doesn't take a very smart man to know you hunt where the ducks are.

One thang u should know since tha waters comin up now is if u see a spot that looks like a good one you might wana slow down goin through there some people have t.post and re.bar around their holes that might be under tha water line when its up

Experience comes with time ! Spend as much time as you can scouting and learning about duck hunting. Please dont be like everyone else and follow people to their spots and phuk their hunt up. Learn to be a true Sportsman and it will pay off......if you fail keep trying never give up and eventually you will be posting pics like everyone else !

I live in Hamshire and i got a flooded rice field and i have hunted the marsh since i was a 5 with my dad and they are alot different

following someone to their spot then hunting it will only teach you how to be an asshole. It won't teach you a thing about hunting. Go scout, learn the lake, watch the flight patterns and "HUNT" hence the word Hunt. Respecting other hunters will earn you respect, the other may earn you an ass beating.
