Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Nope, that was 2 shots. Like I said learn to shoot. I can kill 7 a day here and rarely need more than 10-12 shots. It wouldn't bother me at all if the feds put a shell limit in place, but then again I don't measure my dick by the number of ducks I kill.

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Every time I put one of those nasty ass things in the boat they get nasty green shit all over the place. Mofo can sit dead in the water for an hour and still shit in my boat when I pick em up somehow. I don't fool with em.

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Them things have a will to live too! We shot a few one morning when it was slow, put one in the boat crippled. He then commenced to run to the front on the boat, jump up on the deck, look back at us and jump into the water.... funniest shit I've ever seen

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Probly not near as many as the ones that would be lost buy the ones with 10 shells who still can't shoot.
A 10 shell limit won't make the weekend warriors any better shots, just make them resent the WLF and lose more cripples.

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Why the hell are y'all debating over some BS crap about shell limits. Do you really want MORE regulations to deal with?
I carry lots of shells with me,not because I cannot shoot but because I match my shells to what I'm gunning and if conditions change I have what I need to match the occasion.

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
I am not advocating a shell limit, but it won't hurt my feelings if there was one put in place. The point I was trying to make was that learning how to shoot properly is a better alternative to limitless shells, and teaching your kids to spray and pray is not going to benefit anyone. My dad taught me how to wing shoot with a single shot, and even with my semi-auto I still rarely take more than 1 shot at a single duck, not bragging just saying.

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Well good for you,I try to get doubles and the occasional triple when I'm hunting.
Even with practice not everyone can consistently kill birds no matter how hard they try.

Re: LA eyes duck hunt options!
Thanks! I shoot doubles also, when the first duck I shoot at is stone dead. Your right everyone has a bad day, I've had a couple of days when I don't even touch a feather, days like that a shell limit would have saved me some money
