Occasionall Sputtering
23HP Mud Buddy mini. I have it with a upgraded BPS Mikuni Carb kit, Single crossover and Stainless exhauste. I ran the motor a few days ago wideopen for an hour. At one point the motor started sputtering or skipping like it was not getting gas. I have since then changed the spark plugs, new fuel filter, and cleaned the carb. Took the motor out today and still the occasionall skip. The motor cranks fine and ideals fine only happens when running on the water. Wondering if anyone has any ideas on what elese I can do or check to fix. I will be taking the fuel out of the tank because it is not ethonal free but did use stabil. will put ethonal free gas in it and run it to see if that helps. Any sugestions would be great. thanks.

Make sure your vent is open on tank.

Re: Occasionall Sputtering
Switch to premium fuel, make sure you have no air leaks in the fuel lines after you remove all the quick connects on the fuel line. Make sure the fuel tank fuel pickup tube is on the bottom of the tank. Do all the other stuff the guys above listed. Try some Sea Foam in the fuel for a couple tanks. Good Luck Duckdon
