Christie's Cabaret
And the Rendezvous for some tasty ribs and brisket. The zoo is really nice if you like those kinds of things.

 Re: Memphis
Gus's chicken. Best in the USA...looks like a dumppy place but man is is good. If you like ribs, go to Rendezvous rib house. Better make reservations though cause they pack in there.

 Re: Memphis
Late night bar called Rayford's about three blocks from Beale after the bars on Beale shut down. They serve 40's and the ni@@er that owns it DJ's and wears a suit with a cape... Incredible

 Re: Memphis
I like BB Kings ribs best. Rendevous was good but BBs was mo better IMO.

 Re: Memphis
Thanks for the advice guys. Sounds like Gus's will be on the menu. I always bring a weapon with me power731, but good advice. The weekend we are going is the international BBQ contest weekend, not by plan, but ribs will be a given as well. Any out of the way places to catch some good tunes. I am sure Beale will be chock o block with people.

 Re: Memphis
A little late follow up from the trip. Gus' is the place to eat chicken without a doubt (thanks for the advice on that one!). Ribs at Rendezvous are way better than at BB's. The ducks at the Peabody were cool. The All Stars at BB's place can flat out jam. The Newcastle was cold and the pints of it were plenty.
