I'll go ahead and say... I'm not gonna argue about this. You believe what you want and I'll do the same. I can agree to disagree.

There's a difference between sitting in church and getting meaning out of the words. Not a real big church fan myself but what strengthens my belief is when I'm sitting in the duckblind at sunrise and that moment just as the sun begins to rise and the sunrise is at its full vigor, you know that moment when time seems to stop, if you dont know what Im talking about your a lost cause anyways. That's what makes me realize this world wasn't created by some big space fart after eating camp chili. Also maybe you should of taken some anatomy classes and leaned how amazingly complex our body is and you'd realize it took a little bit more than evolving from some early microbe 100 billion years ago.

It's funny when people like paleo always end up praying to god when something really awful happens to them.

You can argue science to the extreme if you want. You can use evolution and the big bang theory, you can trace everything in the universe back to the first proton if you like. But even then you have to ask yourself who put that first proton there? There is not a theory out there that can shake my belief in a superior spiritual being that is responsible for all creation.

If only the facts were on your side, but quite simply, just as in your previous (two!) arguments about crawfishing, religion, and my career, they are not. Even though I never attacked your career choice, you did not extend me that same courtesy. I have no interest in your explanation of what it is that you do. I will not be a part of your attempts of self-justification. I offer this comparison as my response to your unwarranted assault on the relative value of or careers:
Imagine if all obstetricians took merely one day off. Without exaggeration, literally hundreds of women and their unborn children would die. The lives of thousands more would never be the same. If all the paleontologista took the day off, I doubt anyone would notice; even fewer would care. Does this make me special? I've never thought, only privileged to have been given the ability and opportunity to accept the great responsibility of being a part of people's lives in such an impactful way. So, for now, I recommend that you climb back into your fossil hole, and try to find what's meaningful about what you do. It's there, and the ones of us who have found it are happy and content with our lives-no matter what we have chosen as our live's direction. Stay in your hole as long as you need. Then, when your soul cries out for respite from its meaningless existence, and your ego screams for attention, come back here and post your intentionally devicive threads as you always do, in the hopes that deridiing others for their choices will somehow validate your own. It's ok. As harsh as this place can be, just maybe you'll find some members gracious enough to give you the love and understanding you so desperately seek. I, however, will not be one of them.
