You metioned doctors saving babies was interfering with natural selection, like it was a bad thing. That is what my previous post was addressing.

I have my religous beliefs. I do not care by what name anyone else calls God or if they choose not to believe entirely. This is America we all have the freedom to practice our own beliefs. However do not insult our constitution, by ridiculing those who choose to exercise their constitutional right to practice a faith.

I will also say this. I have a special needs child who would not have made it 6 months if she was born 50 yrs ago, but with the help of doctors, medicine, and a lot of prayer, she is 13 now and doing quite well. So you can take your natural selection and evolution and shove it up your ass. IMO part of the evolution of humans comes in the form of doctors and scientists, who with the help of God, have grown to become the wealth of knowledge in healing and medicine that they are today. I can tell you straight up, if you stood in front of me and tell me that my child doesn't deserve be on this earth, its gonna be you making an early exit.

I have no children and have no desire for children. As far as ridiculing your religion I see that as fair game. I belive in science and all it encompasses, you could say my job is my religion, which fits since I believe whole heartily in evolution. If my beliefs can be mocked, then yours can be too.

Actually the doctors also credit "the grace of God" for my child's and many others' lives being what they are today. The fixation of a broken leg to prevent a lifetime of misery? Hand surgery to restore normal function and a productive life? Plastic surgery to repair a face shattered in an automobile accident
and give a person back a piece of themselves they thought was gone forever by making them whole again? A Caesarean section to save the life of a mother and or her child? Or would you simply let your loved ones or yourself suffer and die in the name of evolution? These, sir, are the miracles of medicine, which has given us these and something something much more-hope. I, for one, consider myself blessed to have been given the opportunity for God to work these miracles through my hands, for I claim not the credit, only the privilege. In contrast, what has paleo ichthyology given the world? Nothing.

Fell asleep at the wheel, flipped n f250 4 times not wearing her seat belt, ejected, unconscious no broken bones-Survived

If she would have not been drunk she would have braced - dead
If she would have been wearing her seat belt-dead( cab would have crushed her)
If a accidental phone call not been made my buddy that made him
Suspicious he never would have went and looked for her

Also she was face down in a ditch. And got CPR. Which has a 7% survival rate

17 years old, driving back from Baton Rouge in a Honda Civic. I was in the back seat w/ my girl friend. Her friend was driving. She attempted to pass a vehicle but panicked and over compensated. Car hit ditch @ 75 MPH, rolled side over side 4 times in cane field. Three of the four doors where thrown off. None of us were wearing seat belts. None were ejected from car. My girl friend suffered one minor scratch on her arm (did not even require a bandage). Besides that, we all walked away totally unharmed, did not even experience soreness the next day. Less than 10 minutes before the accident, her friend suggest she sit in the back seat with me, so we stopped on the side of the road and she got in the back. During the wreck, the passenger side of the cab was crushed to the floorboards. Luck? I don't know. All I know is that we set down and said a prayer together asking god to protect us on our journey, which is customary in our families.

Yep, but everyone deserves to die when they choose also, the problem is that the children in most of these cases never get the chance to voice their opinion. I tend to agree with Kevorkian, assisted suicide should be a medical option if the patient is of sound mind.

I grew up in a "holy roller" church. I may not attend church regularly now but I have seen and "felt" things that can only be supernatural that make me believe in God. Until people experience things for themselves there is no argument in the world that will make them believe. People also forget that there is a battle which we are in the middle of between God and the devil. The devil doesn't think he is doomed to lose.
