 HUGE PROBLEM with shaft and engine

Post HUGE PROBLEM with shaft and engine
Ok I am going this weekend to buy a predator 420cc at harbor freight because they having a parking lot sale and the motors are $100 or more off...well the output shaft on the motor is 1" and my inner shaft for my longtail is 3/4"... How do I fix this??????

Get a u joint that is 1 inch on one side and 3/4 on the other. I'm sure they make something like that

You can certainly get a u joint that works. You can buy the joint in three separate pieces. Small shaft end, big shaft end, and spider (center part)

My bad guys! I read on another forum that I was going to have to put a clutch on it and cost around 400$. I didn't know you could mix yoke sizes on the u joints!

Why is the predator 420cc 13 horses and the Duromax 420cc 16 horses? Is there a difference in the carb or exhaust?

You cant mix yoke sizes, just what shaft the yoke is built to fit. They are all going to be 1000 series yokes just built to fit either a 3/4 or 1" shaft.
