 HUGE PROBLEM with shaft and engine Ok I am going this weekend to buy a predator 420cc at harbor freight because they having a parking lot sale and the motors are $100 or more off...well the output shaft on the motor is 1" and my inner shaft for my longtail is 3/4"... How do I fix this??????

Re: HUGE PROBLEM with shaft and engine You can certainly get a u joint that works. You can buy the joint in three separate pieces. Small shaft end, big shaft end, and spider (center part)

Re: HUGE PROBLEM with shaft and engine My bad guys! I read on another forum that I was going to have to put a clutch on it and cost around 400$. I didn't know you could mix yoke sizes on the u joints!

Re: HUGE PROBLEM with shaft and engine You cant mix yoke sizes, just what shaft the yoke is built to fit. They are all going to be 1000 series yokes just built to fit either a 3/4 or 1" shaft.
